The 6th Annual Nelson Mandela Community Leadership Awards took place on July 8, in Lenasia Extension 5’s Baitun Noor Hall. The awards were hosted by Eastwave Radio 92.2FM to acknowledge outstanding leaders in the community.
The winners of the subsequent categories are as follows:
Academic Initiatives and Achievements – Dr Zaheer Jina Asvat, Business Social Responsibility – Victorine Mbang Shu Cultural and Religious Leadership – Adubus Sama Mia Young Leaders – Irfaan Mangera.
The overall winner of the Nelson Mandela Community Leadership Award for Excellence was the Abu Asvat Institute.
