After four days without electricity, on Wednesday, June 15, fed-up Lenasia South Extension 4 residents embarked on a protest burning tyres and a mattress, to blockading the Golden Highway with boulders and rocks.
No vehicles were allowed to pass through the Golden Highway and R558 Grasmere Road intersection, leading into Migson Manor and Finetown.
