The Ahmed Kathrada Foundation Operation Winter Warm 2016 was a huge success. This year, the collection drive had drop off venues in the Sandton, Roshnee, Soweto, Pretoria, Lenasia South and Azaadville areas.
Some 250 volunteers availed themselves over the weekend to do the door-to-door collections. The youth visited most of the extensions in the Lenasia community who proved to be very generous in their donations.
